HOW TO-The Contour is easy to operate and set to your needs. Simply turn the rotary dial located on the power cord (which is the same color as the lamp), and the lamp will turn on at a low level brightness level. To adjust the lamp's brightness, just turn the dial clockwise and the light level will start rising, and turn it counter-clockwise to lower it back down to a dimmer level. Please NOTE- because of the built in dimmer, the Contour cannot be dimmed using an external dimmer, though it can be powered on and off via wall switch control, and will even remember the setting it was left on! |
ASSEMBLY AND MEASUREMENTS-The Contour weighs just over 6 pounds; It is lightweight and extremely portable. Its height can be adjusting by varying the angle of the gooseneck, and can reach a height anywhere between 42 and 62 inches. The base has a 9.5 inch diameter, while the head is 6 inches across.The gooseneck will hold the head in place once you position it how you like. Assembly is easy, just follow the included instructional diagram, no additional tools necessary! |

It is built into the lamp's head for sturdiness, so it can't be replaced, but with its 15-20 year lifespan, you won't ever need to replace it. It has 9 watts, 600 lumens, and a cool white color temperature of 5,000k.The Contour is plugin operated and works with 110v - 220v outlets; you would just need to use a plug adapter to use it outside of the US, as the plug is made to fit standard US AC outlets. |
